FireFox 3.5 has been released as the stable version of FireFox.
So far 3.5 feels a little more responsive. It got a 93/100 on Acid 3 when I tested it myself this morning. There are also a few GUI changes to tabs as well.
Go get it!

nice, hopefully it stops killing my desktop occasionally if I have hundreds of tabs open (which I always do)

Yeah, I know it's cross platform. But I didn't want to put the same post in three categories.
Why don't you try closing a tab every now and then?

Ah, true. maybe eventually if/when there's enough posts it'll be worth splitting off a separate software forum
